BOOK II OF THE HYRULE TERMINUS SAGA
DEATH MOUNTAIN
PROLOGUE
The Kingdom of Hyrule exists within the Golden Land, a land blessed by the goddesses Din, Nayru and Farore. As a gift to the people the land, they created a magical relic called the Tri-Force, containing a fraction of their limitless power. The ancient artifact is, as the name suggests, composed of three parts. These are Power, Wisdom and Courage. Throughout the history of this land, an ancient war has repeated countless times for the right to control this relic.
The endless, eternal battle composed of the Legendary Hero, the Princess of the lands and the Dark Prince has been fought far too many times to keep track, even in the blood-soaked pages of history. Yet, still, it continues. This time, however, the battle is different for the latest incarnation of the mighty hero. This time, it is not the Dark Prince that is the threat to all that is, yet instead an unknown threat created from the countless use of the Tri-force.
The powers have caused the Land of Light and the World of Darkness to fold into each other, and old enemies must form new alliances. This is the world that is created by the effect called Hyrule Terminus. This is the new enemy that threatens the existence of all that is. This is where a new chapter in the Legend of Zelda begins...
