In the golden land that is Hyrule, there are many great things bestowed upon by the goddesses. Lush crops, healthy land, basic necessities. None ever wonder what it would be like without these basic and subtle liberties. There is one who chanced upon the land who knew what it was like all too well. The enigma known as Shadow has lied upon poisoned soil, devastating storms and gales, mere scraps harvested from the fields, scarcely able to feed one person more than a month and water that is so putrid and stale that the mere taste can bring illness and death. No, this land was in no way close to blessed.

Living in this hash world, he learned to fight, to survive... by any means possible. Now the three warriors Link, Saria and Sheik are learning the true Hell that was the Dark World. Worried about the risk of prolonged exposure to this world will do to his new found friends, he reaches his home, the Kokiri Badlands. The land is a barren wasteland, but at least there was fresh water and food to be had. However, the effects of this land have already started to take their toll...
