CHAPTER VII
LET’S FINISH THIS
“Note to self, when running to school, avoid walls.” – Sonic after a high speed collision during a short cut.
Nazo smiled and said, “So, you can draw the power of the Master Emerald. Tell me. Do you really think that such power will really make a difference? I’ll just kill you again. You don’t stand a chance against me.” Sonic slowly extended his hand at Nazo and a mass of energy blasts flew at the creature. Nazo dodged and yelled, “A summoner attack? How did you learn that?” Sonic vanished and His foe went flying into the wall in front of him as he gut struck from behind. The creature snapped his hands to the side, but couldn’t summon his chains.
“What in the Seven Hells?” Sonic appeared right in front of him and fired a large Vulcan Cannon at point blank range, causing him to fly back a large distance. Before the creature could, he was hit by an exceptionally large hammer and driven into the ground. The creature slowly stood up and muttered, “How can you do that? You shouldn’t be able to use someone else’s attacks!” Sonic grabbed Nazo by his throat and said, “Here’s a gift from Knuckles.”
He wound back and landed a devastating punch to the creature’s stomach, sending him high into the air. The prismatic warrior then vanished and Nazo went flying in a different direction. He continued getting knocked around like a pinball until he thrown by sonic to the ground. Just as he was about to hit the street, Sonic appeared just above him and landed a powerful downwards kick to the back of his head. The impact with which the creature hit the ground caused the pavement to shatter. Nazo stood up, looking extremely furious.
He snapped his hand to the side and a blade of pure Chaos Energy replaced his hands. Sonic copied the ability using the power of Order. Sonic looked at his opponent and said, “Let’s finish this.” The two of them yelled, “CHAOS CONTROL!!! and time completely froze. They charged at each other and struck at one another with incredible speeds. Sonic started pushing harder, forcing the creature back towards a wall. At that moment, Nazo kicked the supercharged warrior through a building, causing it to collapse all around him., with Chaos Control failing.
Nazo smiled and said, “Only human.” Suddenly, the collapsed building seemingly exploded and sonic landed a devastating kick of his own to the destroyer of worlds, sending him through a building himself. Unlike Nazo, Sonic didn’t underestimate his opponent and charged into the building after him. As the building collapsed around them, Sonic reached his foe and attacked. Nazo leaped from the failing ground to the debris with the young warrior in close pursuit. They leaped from debris to debris attacking each other until they left the collapsing structure and higher into the air.
As they spiraled skyward in battle, trying to land the decisive blow. Sonic reverted his aura weapons back to their original state and grabbed Nazo by the shoulders. With a mighty heave, he started spinning his foe with tremendous force before finally hurdling him to the ground. Nazo landed on his feet and lunged up at the warrior to finish the fight. Sonic faced downward and sailed at the enemy. The two of them reached one another and Sonic grabbed the blades that were the creature’s arms. He then rotated his body so that his arms held his foe’s arms to his torso and his legs around Nazo’s neck.
He slammed the enemy into the ground heads first and stood up. He sighed and raised his arm in front of his face, turning it once again into a blade. With a quick motion, he rotated his body in a ducking motion and drove his arm blade upwards through Nazo’s head. Sonic stood there as the destroyer started to dissolve into a mist, saying, “Next time, pick a host that cant be killed.”
With that, he reverted back to his normal state and sighed. “I’d better get back to Angel Island and figure out how to reverse this mess.
