PROLOGUE
Everyone is special. Every person is different from the one before, but just as special as the next . It is a mold that is passed through all life in the universe and never changes. However, every so often, the mold cracks for the fleetest of instants and a unique being is created. In this case, it is a young man Delta City named Sonic, gifted with the ability to run ad unimaginable speeds. He knows that if he exists, others do too, and there is a reason they do. However, a great darkness looms in the horizon. A darkness that is quickly spreading, growing darker. More powerful. He doesn’t know what this darkness is, or what the female in his dreams mean about being the one to stop it’s dominion, but what he does know is that if he and his friends don’t do something about it, lots of people will die. This is the tale of a hero coming to grip with his fate. The first of many battles to be fought. The tale of Sonic… The fastest thing alive.
